Our fundraising and special events during the year all add up to a great feeling of accomplishment --
but we are striving to "raise the bar." This page serves as a directory to our activities, with links
to get you a more complete story, starting with our two primary fund raising programs and our
most significant singular campaign to help kids in need -- with MOBILITY.

The "Participating Charities" shown in the table below are those assisted at our 2006
Grant Breakfast. Charities are reviewed and selected on an annual basis for grants.

Annual Golf Fest

Golf - tennis - "a national reunion" - a great and enjoyable event! Now at Chateau Elan.
Cinema Passports On sale each January. Great as a GIFT, stretching all year! Treat yourself or another special person!
Mobility for Kids

A major program of our Tent, providing "mobility" to

ALEXANDER AT FUND

To help at risk and disadvantage children.

ART FACTORY To provide children with low-income access to " Summer Stock at the Art Factory".
ATLANTA CHILDREN'S SHELTER To help continue their early child care program.
ATLANTA UNION MISSION To provide programs of Young Audiences of Atlanta to homeless and needy children.
CAMP KUDZU To help Camp Kudzu pay for summer camp and provide this life-saving and fun experience to more than 440 children.
CAMP TWIN LAKES Funding will give children a week of camp.
CHILDKIND Recruiting, efficiently screening and training new foster families.
COBB STREET MINISTRIES To help with medical, dental and overall everyday expenses.
CROHN'S & COLITIS FOUNDATION To ensure that CCFA may continue to meet the needs of children with IFB in our community.
CURE CHILDHOOD CANCER Funding will go towards the CURE Childhood Cancer off Therapy Celebration.
EAGLE RANCH Funds would go toward on-going expenses of operating 6 children's homes.
FOCUS Funding for Camp Hollywood where everyone is a star.
FRAGILE KIDS FOUNDATION To help fund wheelchair lifts, respite care, specialized tricycles, bathing systems and diapers.
GWINNETT SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER To replace existing children's exam room table with hydraulic or bariatric examination table.
HORIZONS Funding will be used for a Fine Arts Program for low-income children.
JERUSALEM HOUSE INC The funds awarded would be used specifically to help defray housing and support for the Family Program.
LEKOTEK Funds to purchase the inventory of adapted toys, educational materials, computers for the new Southside Lekotek.
PARTNERSHIP AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE To help children residing in PADVS shelters to heal from trauma they have experienced.
POLESTAR The grant would provide scholarships for deserving teenagers who need assistance to attend the school.
PREVENT CHILD ABUSE GA Support of their Child Abuse programs to help with training and educational materials
PREVENTION & MOTIVATION To provide Good Touch/Bad Touch training scholarships to 10 volunteers and provide them with kits.
PROJECT HEALTHY GRANDPARENTS Providing transportation for at-risk children to the Marcus Institute for appointments.
PROJECT OPEN HAND To prepare 485 meals for needy children.
RAINBOW VILLAGE, INC. To help support children and family enrichment activities.
Travelers Aid of Metro Atlanta To help with their Back to School Bash which will provide children with backpacks, supplies and clothes.
THE ELAINE CLARK CENTER To support their nursing program for children with special needs.
THE GA CENTER FOR CHILDREN To support programs for sexually abused children.
WESTSIDE YMCA GO GIRL GO To purchase equipment for the YMCA Go Girl Go program and help bring Westside YMCA back to life.
